UPS Says The Sky Is Falling: Or 'Could It Be . . . .

UPS says the United States economy is crashing based on the fact that fewer people used UPS to ship goods. I don't use UPS is I don't have to. Whenever there is a choice for shipping I always spend more to avoid UPS. Why? Here's why, they are unreliable for me. I don't know where my packages will be delivered to. USPS, gee they deliver to my mailbox. FED EX, golly gee they actually deliver to my door. UPS doesn't. I have to search for my packages. One time my neighbor got one of my packages I know this because of tracking and it said I didn't sign for it. Except neither did she the driver just foisted the package her way and signed for her. Now for full disclosure I should point out that I know for almost 100% certainty why UPS fails me. Some time ago I ordered something, something heavy, I expected the experienced company I purchased from to know how to pack. They didn't. It was large heavy and in basically an oversized envelope with very little protections. Not UPS's fault but the item was damaged, sometime. Now prior to this delivery I never ever once had a problem with the driver or the service. The same dude has been delivering to my building for years, he used to sit at a table by a window take off his shoes and eat his lunch. He comes to my neighbor nearly daily, stopping and chatting and showing pictures of family members. So now I'm expecting my delivery, I waited by the door, I hear the truck outside, the UPS truck has some distinct sounds and the my email says the package was delivered but not to me. I go track my package down, damaged. Why did he not deliver to my door, unless he knew it was damaged is all I can imagine. To this day that fuckwad driver delivers nearly everyday to my neighbor and I have to walk around the world to find my package. So maybe, just maybe there is another reason for UPS to have 7% drop in sales. Fuck UPS.
