Oh my. The CEO's of Walmart and Target are handing out warnings or maybe advice. You see they are the recipients of boycotts. The boycotts are brought by consumers to get the companies to wake up to the needs and demands of the customer. But you see corporations like Target and Walmart only pass on saving to the consumers, they don't work for the consumers. The CEO's work for the shareholders and shareholders don't care about living wages or DEI, they only care about profits. Oddly though some consumers do care about DEI. Target and Walmart say they won't bow down to pressure, except for Target of course, you see a couple of years ago in Missoula some drunk white man walked into a Target and cried about the Pride display. That set off a chain reaction and Target pulled its Prided displays. To be fair Target did say they were doing to protect their workers. They didn't bring in extra security, charge the drunk guy for disorderly conduct nor did they ever site any other incident of dangers brought toward their employees because of a rainbow or the word "pride" but nonetheless Target and Walmart and others lined up at the White House door to kneel and kiss the ring of Donald J Trump - convicted felon, convicted sex abuser, twice impeached by Congress - and t old him they would end DEI and oh by the way here's a few million dollars to put into your little inauguration fund. So after all of that Target and Walmart are warning other CEO's that the "boycott's" are coming. Well that may be true but to get the boycotts you don't have to exist you have to act like Walmart and Target.
