South Dakota spins my head. Formerly staunch Republicans now fully entrenched Trump acolytes following his orders no matter how meandering or ineffectual they may be. If you've ever driven through the state on I-90, the state comes across as fairly normal. But you may notice though that the freeway is dedicated to our fallen soldiers, hence its called the Purple Heart highway. You can't agree with someone 100% of the time. The rest stops are rather inclusive. Odd as that may seem, but drinking water is available to everyone without charge. They have handicap designated parking and seating, which seems fairly inclusive as well. I know it's a federal law but it's South Dakota they fought for illegal prostitution for years and they're going to let the feds give away the good parking spots? They're building a fucking statue for Crazy Horse or somebody like that. Forget that we stepped on every treaty we signed, forget the nearly 2 centuries of oppression and abuse, it wasn't that long ago and is probably still true that you called that man a Redskin and referred to him as a savage. Granted it's a tourist trap. But they didn't build a bigger Trump statue. South Dakota also elected a woman to hold a man's job - Governor. Wow, that does appear diverse and inclusive. If she makes the same as a man Governor then you hit the DEI trifecta!! Woman have it made, since given the right to vote along with our Black population they have received a leg up with the Equal Rights, funny how much equal and equality look so much alike. Women also get the perks of Title IX. Fuck title 9, if they want their own courts and stadiums sell some fucking tickets and build it from the ground up like a man. And then you have the open harboring of illegal immigrants. Pig jobs and chicken jobs and vegetable picking jobs are grueling and low pay by design, so naturally you bring in wet backs because they work cheap and white people couldn't do the work because they'd have to actually work. They call it an open secret, the farmers are getting rich off of slave labor, they abuse and take advantage, no different than southern plantations. President - elect Twelon Musk plans on mass deportations, if he does it could cripple South Dakota. My guess is if this isn't all bluster and they attempt to mas depot folks, they will make it look like they are trying at some select easy to access by the national media locations. And most likely a blue state because there will be more protests. So South Dakota is fairly woke they just don't realize it because of their deep hatred of others. They need to make the Ten Commandments great again.
