For what ever reason Caitlin Clark takes a beating. Catty jealous players cheap shotting her. I saw a game where a player made basically did a blindside tackle that could have been interpreted as a chop block. Players and coaches are all jealous of her success. She has played in front of sold out crowds. My local team has won championships - plural. They only sell out when Caitlin comes to town. Caitlin probably doesn't need the meager WNBA salary she's receiving she also doesn't need the physical abuse. Although she takes a beating and doesn't back down. So my suggestion for Caitlin is this: you don't need the WNBA. She should start her own basketball team, barnstorm the WORLD, play in front of adoring fans in sell out arenas and promote girls/women's basketball. She can take full control of ticket and merch sales, venues across the world will make money and her fans can adore her. It isn't worth the hassel to play in the WNBA. The WNBA is weak anyway, when the Olympians were chosen from a pool of players from the WNBA they got beat by the players they didn't pick. Caitlin get out before someone cold cocks you and blinds you or worse. For the good of basketball get out of the WNBA and share your special gift with the rest of the world. Besides you'll get better coverage and you won't have to at 10:30 in the morning.
