Spirit Airlines is probably going out of business. The is how capitalism works. You start a company, get investors, pay our CEO very very well and when times get bad expect a hand out. But wait we aren't a socialist country. When a company goes out of business because they over paid their CEO or bad marketing or bad strategy just go out of business instead of asking for a hand out. Let someone else take a shot. They can swoop in and buy your company for pennies on the dollar and because this is America you just might make it big. But to do a stock buy back and dump your money into the stock market to prop up the failing company stock, frankly you are just circling the drain.
